lcd liquid crystal display process

Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) is a kind of Flat Panel Display (FPD) technology, based on the special physicochemical and optoelectronic properties of liquid crystal materials, it is the most mature and widely used display device in the current flat panel display technology, which is mainly used in the fields of TV, monitor, laptop, tablet PC, smartphone and so on. It is mainly used in TVs, monitors, laptops, tablet PCs, smartphones and other fields.

Currently on the market the so-called LCD mainly refers to the active matrix thin film transistor liquid crystal display (Thin Film Transistor LCD, TFT-LCD), including thin film transistor (TFT) and liquid crystal display (LCD) two technologies, that is, by the thin-film transistor control of the liquid crystal display.

TFT-LCD: sandwich-like construction

The structure of the LCD is like a sandwich, the liquid crystal is sandwiched between two glass substrates, which are the TFT Array glass and the color filter. In the TFT Array glass there are countless pixels (pixel) arrangement, and the color filter is an important source of picture color, liquid crystal will be sandwiched between the TFT Array and the color filter.
